It was on one of their trips to the state of Oaxaca that they came across a mysterious man who had in his possession a beautiful skull carved from quartz crystal. The skull was hollow, about 6.5” tall and weighed nearly 15 pounds. Alberto and Delfina were fascinated by the skull. He revealed to the them that the skull had been found at a sacred site of the Zapoteca and that he thought the family should become the new guardians of the Skull. This was a fitting tribute to them for having supported and helped raise awareness and consciousness about the indigenous peoples of Mexico. He also relinquished to them three smaller skulls made out of precious stones and other artifacts that also were in his possession. For many years, the crystal skull was kept in the family home as part of a Private Collection.
Delfina passed away in 2009 and before her death she had decided that the crystal skull should go to her eldest grandchild, Mario, who lived in Las Vegas, Nevada. He now is the guardian of the crystal skull. He affectionately calls the skull Pancho, The New Generation Crystal Skull. Since having inherited the skull, Mario has dedicated himself to sharing this incredible artifact with others. He has traveled around the country giving discussions about the indigenous Meso-American cultures of Mexico and crystal skulls. Mario also shares with people secrets and revelations about Pancho's true origins, his galactic connection and why Pancho has decided to surface at this critical time in history.
